Read MoreWe followed the highway along the St Lawrence River to the Ivy Lea Campground, another one of the Parks of the St Lawrence. Our site was up on a hill so that Holly was overlooking the water and the bridge to the USA!

Read MoreThis was our first trip to the Parks of the St. Lawrence and we really enjoyed it! Maybe it was the stellar weather, maybe it was the great company, maybe it was the outstanding view or most likely it was all of them! What a terrific weekend so close to home!
Read MoreOur first trip back to Ontario Provincial parks in 2021! It was a muggy weekend, with some rain and not a lot of sun (thankfully! It was already really hot without the sun!) Great to be back camping again with friends! And a nice opportunity to see our son who was living in Sudbury for University in the summer.

Read MoreWe decided to give Bon Echo Provincial Park a second chance and lucked into booking a really amazing site in September! What a difference a few months makes… hardly any mosquitos this time around, which made it easy to love this park.
Read MoreWe spent our final night of our trip through Northern Ontario at Samuel de Champlain Provincial Park. It was mainly a stop to break up the final leg of our trip, so we weren’t there for long but we enjoyed the park and hope to be back again soon!
